About Us

Trainer: Teri Clayton Currie
I started riding at age 9 and by age 12 was competing at “A” shows throughout the area. In North Carolina and South Carolina, I was ranked in the top six in children’s hunter for three years and in large juniors for three years. I started my winters showing in Florida and worked my way up the coast. My strongest area of competition was equitation. I qualified for the Maclay Finals before heading off to college. I was co-director of the riding program at camp Chatuga for a summer, and assisted in teaching lessons at Cedarhill Farm before opening Belfair Farms. I thoroughly love to ride and compete. I bring many years of experience to the ring, with the solid foundation in skills needed to do well in the hunter/jumper arena.

Training Staff:
The Instructing Staff at Belfair Farms is comprised of highly qualified instructors who have spent many years showing and riding. Our training staff are hand-picked by Teri Currie to ensure the highest quality standards.
